Peter Marmo’s practice focuses on federal income tax planning for individuals and businesses, as well as corporate and transactional matters. Peter has experience in the taxation of partnerships and corporations, including the taxation of U.S. businesses with foreign operations and foreign businesses with U.S. operations. He has represented clients in the natural resources, real estate, health care, and financial services industries.
Peter received his law degree from Harvard Law School in 2002 and his undergraduate degree from Rice University in 1998. He has been a speaker for the Tax Executives Institute and Council for International Tax Education on a variety of federal income tax and international tax topics.
Prior to joining the firm in 2007 Peter practiced in the tax department of a major international law firm located in Houston. He speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
He has been recognized as a Texas Rising Star in Tax Law by Texas Monthly.
