Randy Friday practices in
the area of business and commercial litigation. He handles
cases in federal and state courts, at the trial and appellate
levels. He also practices before arbitration panels. His
experience is extensive. Among the cases he has handled
are those involving: breach of contract; oil and gas; sales
of goods; construction contracts; real estate contracts;
landlord tenant litigation; environmental litigation; business
torts such as fraud, negligence, defamation, tortious interference
with contracts, and conversion; deceptive trade practices;
trademark infringement and Lanham Act violations; antitrust;
natural gas contracts and regulation; trust and estate
litigation; employment discrimination; trade secrets; covenants-not-to-compete;
lender liability; and secured transactions. Many of his
cases have been complex and document-intensive.
Mr. Friday joined the firm in 1984. He received a BBA
from the University of Iowa in 1973 and a J.D. from Stanford
Law School in 1976. |
